The sixth bait check was completed this week over the first two days. The seventh bait check was started this week, with monitoring stations put out between the bait stations. The map of bait take sixth check is given below.

The seventh check will be completed over the next couple of days. The monitoring stations each have a chewstick (soaked in used vegetable oil) and a piece of candle or soap. They will be checked during the eighth bait check to see if there are areas where rats are not going into the bait stations.

The weather has hindered our progress this week with the seventh check. During the wet weather the team cut and drilled the candles, soap and chewsticks.
