Congratulations to Biz and Paul.

On the 24th of February 2007 in Blenheim, New Zealand Biz and Paul got married. They had a wonderful day. As the photo below shows they both looked superb on their big day.

A few of the Canna 'rat squad' were able to attend and join the families and all had a fabulous time

Meanwhile back on Canna... Geoff has completed another round of checks on the monitoring grid. 659 stations were checked, of which 433 (66%) had been visited by mice, but no rat signs were detected. Most sections showed high levels of mice activity, apart from Sanday (only36% of blocks nibbled) and the beach road (35%). Martin has also begun his visits to the island to check up on the White-tailed Eagles. He advised Geoff to miss out two sections of the monitoring grid, to avoid disturbing the eagles at this critical time.

Finally...

Steve Ebbert from Alaska, who visited Canna in February 2006 has put lots of superb pictures of Canna and its birds on his website. These can be seen by clicking on  http://www.amnwr.com/2006/Scotland/
